Strictly Speaking – Japanese

Course Description: Sick of joining classes, but not getting enough speaking practice in? Do you want to maximize the time you’re in class for speaking and listening only? Our “strictly speaking” series has been created to target students who would just like to practice their speaking and listening skills. Hills Learning is pioneering this new type of class with interactive activities that focus only on conversation. Japanese Classes NYC

Course Goals: To be able to speak more fluently in Japanese in multiple situations. Activities will be done to have students practice speaking about themselves and subjects of varying interests.

Course Curriculum: Created by Hills Learning, handouts will be provided. Improv exercises and activities make up the majority of the class.

Cost: Special promotion pricing – The cost for this class is 30 per class, or 80 ahead of time for 3 classes. Please note all course materials will be provided for you.

Maximum Attendance: We feel that having a smaller amount of students makes for a better language learning experience. Please signup now as space is limited to 10 students.

Time and Location: May 12, May 19, and May 26th, every Wednesday, 730 to 830pm. The course will be held 380 Lexington Avenue, at 42nd and Lexington, on the 17th floor.

Prerequisite: It is assumed that students have a general background in the Japanese language. They’ve learned all basic grammar structures, and have a vocabulary of 1,000 words or more. They can converse in general about basic subjects. Intermediate and Advanced speakers are welcome.
